Guidelines for authors Thank you for your interest in working with theKONSTRUKT! These guidelines are there to help you to not only share your ideas with thousands of readers, but ensure that your article stays in sync with the overall goals of the magazine and can be read by the widest audience possible. Audience information to keep in mind theKONSTRKT has a global readership, with more than seventy countries represented. Therefore, when preparing documents for submission, consider the following: English is not the first language of many readers. It is not, actually, the first language for some of the staff. We are international, we are global, and English is only our working language. A large percentage of readers are not a part of academia, and will loose interest when confronted to theories and assumptions that are not clearly explained. Give examples, explain what you mean, and make sure everyone can understand it. Cultures, educational backgrounds, and fields of study vary greatly among theKONSTRUKT readers. Not everything obvious to you makes sense to people from other countries. Some have no idea what a MacDonads is, or have weeks that start on Monday. Hey, no one said that writing for a global audience is easy! |
